Danielle todaro, psy.D.

Dr. Todaro received her doctorate in Forensic Psychology from the California School of Forensic Studies at Alliant International University, Los Angeles in 2011 and has been a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Texas since 2014. She completed her pre-doctoral internship training at Harris County Juvenile Probation Department where she conducted psychological evaluations for the juvenile courts.  Her post-doctoral training was completed at North Texas State Hospital Vernon, where she had the opportunity to provide clinical treatment services to adolescent clients and was trained in conducting trial competency evaluations.

Dr. Todaro previously worked in a medium-security prison as well as a juvenile correctional facility, where she provided clinical services including individual and group psychotherapy, suicide risk assessment, crisis intervention, diagnostic evaluations, and risk assessment.  In 2015, she began working at Fort Bend County Behavioral Health Services where she conducted various forensic evaluations including competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility (sanity), fitness to proceed, lack of responsibility, and certification to adult court for nearly eight years. In the course of her work, she has provided expert witness testimony in both criminal and juvenile courts.  

Currently, Dr. Todaro runs her private practice focused on providing evaluations for attorneys and the courts. In addition to her clinical and forensic work, Dr. Todaro is an Adjunct Professor in the Forensic and Counseling Graduate Programs at the University of Houston-Victoria.
